Q&A
I have put together a page of frequently asked questions and my answers to help you along the way. If you have any of your own questions which weren't answered here please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
Do you do bespoke designs?
I can create bespoke designs for all of my products, creating your dream wedding stationery to your exact specifications. If it is a bespoke design you're looking for fill in an enquiry form and let's get started! A deposit/full payment is taken before any design work is started.
I want a bespoke design but don’t know where to start, can you help?
Absolutely! We can discuss your wedding plans and I can create a list of suggestions for you to look over based on what I think will suit you and your wedding well. If you're unsure how you want your finished invitation suite to look I can make a few different digital mock ups so you can visualise the different options and see which you like best!
Is there a minimum order?
Some items have minimum orders, such as wedding newspapers due to the extensive design time, and wedding invitations due to envelope/cardstock minimum orders with my suppliers. Minimum orders can be found in the product description box.
How many invitations will I need?
It is recommended to send out an invitation per household/family/couple, and order 5-10 spares in case of change in guest numbers, errors when addressing invitations or for any getting lost in the post, not forgetting to have some as keepsakes and a copy to give to your photographer to capture on your wedding day. It works out more cost effective to order spares when initially ordering, as minimum orders apply if you needed a few extra, minimum order fees may apply on a new order.
Do you post internationally?
Yes I can post internationally! I am based in the UK, but I'm happy to ship worldwide. I must stress - I am unable to control or determine postage times or possible postal delays with couriers, for international orders I highly recommend ordering far in advance. International shipping fees will apply, feel free to send an enquiry form to discuss postage price options.
When is the best time to send my save the dates and invitations?
I recommend 12 - 18 months before your wedding date for your save the dates, and between 6 - 8 months before your wedding for your formal invitations, keeping in mind when you need your RSVPs back to give your venue your final guest count. For destination weddings you may want to give your guests extra time so they are able to book time off work, save money and book accommodation.
Do I send save the date cards to reception only guests?
I recommend sending save the date cards to all of your guests, everyone has busy lives - give them the upmost opportunity to be able to reserve the date in their diary if they want to attend and celebrate with you! The wording on your save the dates can be altered, some to fit full day guests and some to fit reception guests only.
When addressing my invitation to my parents, should I put 'Mum and Dad' or their full names?
This is personal preference, do what feels right for you and your family! Think about what you think you parents would like to receive best.
When should I order my on the day stationery?
I recommend booking an availability slot after you have received your invitations if you know that you would like to use me and my business to create your on the day wedding stationery. This can be pre-booked with a non-refundable £25 booking fee, which is deducted from your final payment. It saves last minute stress - my availability fills fast, if a slot isn't booked ahead of time unfortunately I can't guarantee that I will have last minute availability. I would need your information to create your on the day stationery no later than 6-8 weeks before your special day.
Will I see a preview of my design before it is printed?
100% yes! I send a digital mock up of your order so you can see exactly how it will look, along with each individual page so you can carefully check all text and let me know if you'd like anything changing. I also like to send photos along the way, of sneak peaks and your finished order, it's an exciting time!
Can you make a design I’ve found on Pinterest?
I won’t copy another designers work. I can use the designs as inspiration for your own bespoke stationery, but I cannot directly copy or replicate work. You want something unique to you, not copied.
My wedding is two years away, when should I place my order?
My diary is open for the current year and the next two years, allowing you to book in advance and reserve my availability. A deposit can be paid to reserve availability for a certain product/design, or if you're still deciding on your design you can pay a deposit to reserve your space and decide closer to the time. Save yourself some stress and get one more tick on that long busy list with ordering in advance!
I have a budget can you help?
I believe that I have something to suit all budgets. If you have a specific budget in mind, send an enquiry form with your budget, what product type you're looking for and how many you need / guest count, and I would love to discuss it with you.
