Recommended Timeframes & Order Process
Recommended Timeframes To Send and Order Your Stationery
When planning for wedding stationery, understanding the recommended timeframes for order processing and delivery is crucial to ensure a seamless experience.
I work on a custom turnaround basis. The first step is to enquire - if you see a product that you like on my website, send an enquiry form on from that product page, or if you would like to enquire about multiple items or a bespoke order, use the general enquiry form. I pride myself in speedy replies, so you won't be waiting long for your enquiry answer. (If there is a time I am unable to reply to queries, for being on holiday for example, it will be noted in the announcement bar at the top of the page.) We will discuss what you're looking for, your wedding date and then I will create a turnaround plan to inform you when your order can be made and posted. The benefit of a custom turnaround is that it ensures all orders are made and received by their required dates, you can order far in advance reserving availability in my diary, or if you are running a little bit last minute I can let you know if I have availability to fit it in for you. I take my upmost time and care with every single order, therefore it is essential to me that my diary isn't overfilled for the same dates, this is also why I recommend ordering in advance. My diary is open for the current year and the next two years.
Once we’ve discussed your enquiry, if you’d like to go ahead with ordering you’ll be sent an invoice outlining all the details of your order, and this serves as a record of the items requested and the expected delivery timeframe. Following the completion of the production of your order, a second email will be sent to inform you that your order has been posted, including tracking information so you can monitor the delivery status.
For on the day wedding stationery, I highly recommend booking a production slot in my diary so my availability is reserved to make your order. This can be pre-booked with a non-refundable £25 booking fee which is deducted from your final payment. With a reserved booking in my diary I can ensure that your stationery is ready for when you need it and provide you with an action plan of when the required information is needed to create your order. If a slot isn’t pre-booked I’m unable to guarantee availability.
Recommended Times For Sending Your Stationery
Save the dates: 12 - 18 months before your wedding.
Invitations: 6 - 8 months before your wedding.
RSVP deadline: If your venue requires your guest count 6 weeks before your wedding day, I recommend your RSVP deadline to be at least 8 weeks before, to allow extra time in case you need to check in with anyone.
Thank you cards: 1 - 2 months after your wedding.
Keeping these dates in mind of when you want to hand/post out your stationery, order in advance so you have your stationery delivered to you and prepared ready to give them out on your planned timeframe. When placing an order, we can discuss when you plan on giving out your stationery which will determine when you need to receive them by.
